Through the registration process, you will provide us with a username and your e-mail address. You will also provide us with your payment transaction information if you choose to pay for any of the Site’s services. When creating a poll, we obviously ask you to provide two phrases and any associated context. You may choose to submit information and content to your profile including your name, location, biography, title, url of your website, gender and photo.

When you enter the Site, we collect your browser type and your IP address (a unique address that identifies your computer on the Internet). When you use our mobile Application, we collect your device type, your device ID, and your IP address.
In addition, we store certain information from your browser using "cookies." A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. We use session ID cookies to confirm that users are logged in. If you do not want information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows you to deny or accept the cookie feature; however, you should note that cookies may be necessary to provide you certain features available on the Site.

We collect your email address in order to contact you (1) in regards to your Broody account, (2) if someone you follow creates a poll (this feature is off by default), (3) to validate your account, and (4) to send periodic emails. You may unsubscribe from our periodic emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email you've received from us.
We share your username, title and photo with (1) users who are taking your poll, and (2) users whose poll you have taken, in order to provide depth to their results and experience on the site. If you choose to make your profile “public” (this feature is off by default), then users will also be able to view your name, location, bio, url of website, and gender.
Any actions performed on the Site are collected and retained as a core function of providing and maintaining our service and may be used without identifying information in scientific research.
Account deletion is as laid out in our Terms of Service. To have an account deleted, use this form to contact customer service.
Some information associated with deleted accounts is retained in order to maintain the service for other users, for statistical and historical purposes, and for use in scientific research.
Except in the case of a merger or acquisition, your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.
This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you submit or access your personal information.
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
After a transaction, sensitive information (such as credit card numbers) are never stored on our servers.
This privacy policy only covers broody.io's own collecting and handling of data. We only work with partners and third-party providers whose privacy policies align with ours, however we cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy practices.
Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and policies of those sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy practices.
At our discretion, we may update this policy to reflect current acceptable practices. We will take reasonable steps to let users know about significant changes via our website.
